"What Makes The World a Better Place?" Toronto Children's International Festival of Animation and Live-Action Films is intended to showcase short films created by children (6-12 years old) from all over the world and to popularize Children's creativity and Vision in Animation and Film. The Festival is an opportunity for the Children to have their say about the world we are living in and to suggest their ideas about how to make it better. Judged by a panel of Professional Artists as well as Children-Filmmakers, the Festival presents "Best Film" and "Audience Choice" awards in four categories: Animated Short films (6-9 y.o), Animated Short Films (10-12 y.o), Live-Action Short Films (6-9 y.o), Live-Action Short Films (10-12 y.o). The Festival takes place in February 2017 in Toronto, Canada during 3 days with two days reserved for the Public Screenings, panels and workshops and with the third day intended for the Awards and Closing Ceremonies.
