Our goal is to sell books and expand the Huckleberry Hill Adventure Series. Autographed books are available for gifts and also can be sent in bulk at wholesale cost (please note the The Wild Buck book is printed in the U.S.A.)  to the American Red Cross, for direct distribution to children and schools in need. Book One of the 'Huckleberry Hill Series' was just released at Monterey Fisherman's Wharf in California. In a few hours over 100 books were sold and autographed. What a thrill! ALL proceeds were donated to 'Orchestra in the Schools', supporting children and music.

You will note that the reward, for most levels, features 'The Wild Buck' book. My goal, as an author, is to sell my books and provide additional books to children in need. As a writer, I am also focused on the final edits for book two of the series. (There are four books in this series.)

About the Author

Born and raised in Pebble Beach, California, author Maxine Carlson writes about real life adventures . The Huckleberry Hill Adventures Series embraces the unique setting of the Monterey Peninsula. Soon to be released books in this adorable series include settings along the coasts of Carmel, Pacific Grove and Monterey. 

Maxine is the author and host of the popular California based blog huckleberryhilladventure.com. We also host an expanding lifestyle and recipe channel at Huckleberry Hill Adventure, LLC You-Tube, featuring recipes and tips.

Maxine Carlson holds an A.A. degree in Psychology from Monterey Peninsula College (highest honors). She earned a Bachelor of Science from University of California at Santa Cruz (with distinction) in both Psychology and Teacher Education. Her graduate degree is a Master of Science (Delta Kappa Gamma) from National University, La Jolla, California in Educational Leadership. Maxine has spent over twenty-five years in the field of education. Her experience includes being a recognized elementary school principal.
