Obstructive Sleep Apnea is a disease that affects over 18 million Americans. It is the largest underdiagnosed disease with an estimated 80-90% of sufferers going undiagnosed and untreated. Sleep Apnea is linked to a myriad of other diseases and health conditions including obesity, diabetes, memory loss, heart disease, and stroke to name just a few.
Current treatment options for treating sleep apnea are the bulky CPAP machine (think Darth Vader mask) or Oral appliances (which are gaining in popularity). However there still does not exist an effective, comfortable, and affordable treatment for sleep apnea for the undiagnosed to get the help they need and the help they deserve.
Introducing NED. NED will be the first OTC treatment for Obstructive Sleep Apnea. NED is a simple silicone device that will be a low cost, low hassle treatment for sleep apnea. We have been developing NED in stealth for the past year and now have an initial prototype.
We plan to launch our crowdfunding campaign on September 1st on Indiegogo to raise money to finalize the design and hopefully send out our first batch of devices by Early 2016!
Please like and share this page, especially if you or someone you know is affected by sleep apnea (an estimated 18+ million Americans alone are affected, and most of them are undiagnosed!). I would greatly appreciate all your support and fingers crossed our crowdfunding campaign will launch successfully!
Thank you so much for your time. Feel free to reach out to me personally if you have any questions or would like to know more.
