Kundan - Help revive a dying Mughal art
Kundan - Help revive a dying Mughal art

This project has already launched.

Kundan jewelry established its popularity with the populace of the sub-continent in the 16th century. Originally made from gold and precious stones, modern Kundan combines a brass base with intricate glass and semi-precious gems that replicate the galore of the original royal ornaments. But with modern production and designs, Kundan’s popularity has faded and the Kundan community of Lahore is struggling to keep up with the changing times. In order to help this community, we have come forth with this project, to help create a new market for Pakistani Kundan.
