Kenny's Conscious Kitchen: The Road to Anarchapulco
Kenny's Conscious Kitchen: The Road to Anarchapulco

This project has already launched.

As part of a calling that has been felt, heard, seen… received world-wide, I have set out to help build a new neural network for the Earth, connecting humans, communities, and organizations from all across Turtle Island.

Mission/Goals

In this phase of my travels, I will be stopping at events in Arizona, Texas, and Montana, before heading to Oregon to visit intentional communities and interview activists & other world-changers. At the end of the year, I will be turning south, making a couple stops in California, and heading to Acapulco. I am calling this part of my journey “The Road to Anarchapulco” because this event was so pivotal in my going to a life on the road to begin with, has been such a huge expansive force in my life, and it is one of 2 events I stay excited about all year, and will attend every year until they end, or I leave this body.

As I travel between these events, I am always cooking up delicious vegan food, helping people connect with organizations and projects that are in alignment with them, doing body & energy work, and staying focused on empowerment & liberation. Much of my time is spent with people 1-on-1, helping them change habits & thought processes, moving towards more mindful lives.

I plan to pay attention, listen, watch, and learn quite a bit on this journey. To aid in this, and to help spread this knowledge far and wide, I will be documenting my travels and everything along the way through video, writing, and photography. I already have a wonderful digital video camera (gifted by my friends at The Tribe) & a phone with an 8 point something megapixel camera, the combination of which have been working great for me so far.

  • February 25-28:Anarchapulco (Acapulco, MX)

The next chapter will begin this spring, with the “Village Activation Caravan”, a collaborative project I'm facilitating & helping create the container for. We will be taking a convoy of 4+ vehicles (hopefully all bio-diesel and other alternative energy sources), full of talented, motivated, mindful humans who love to be of service, skill-share, and make the world a better place, on tour around the US. Along the way, we will be stopping at intentional communities at every level of development, helping them in whatever ways we can. This will of course be a full-scale documentary project as well.

What is Anarchapulco?

Anarchapulco is “The first & largest anarcho-capitalist” conference on Earth. This will be the third year of the event, and my third year attending. In my travels, I have found no event that is so focused on bringing together freedom-minded people from all around the world to share ideas. Past speakers include some of the biggest names in the liberty movement: Larken Rose, Adam Kokesh, Dayna Martin, Roger Ver, Luke Rudowski, Derrick Broze, Barry Cooper, Marc Victor, Ken O’Keefe, James Corbett, and many more.

The first year of Anarchapulco was directly responsible for me starting my life on the road, and the second year was a huge level-up for me in many ways. I created my website in the weeks before the conference, I got to meet & spend time with Dayna Martin and her family, I met Adam Kokesh for the first time, and I got to share the lessons of my 2015 on the road with many people.

Last year, I also met Nathan Freeman (the Chief Cat Herder of Anarchapulco) his amazing wife Lisa and their beautiful kids. This year, I have the honor & pleasure of cooking for their family this winter, as they approach the birth of their third child. Rumor is I may be cooking for the Berwick family as well, as they transition to a plant-based diet… stay tuned!

While in Acapulco this year, in addition to quite a bit of cooking, I will also be focusing on content-creation (especially recipes), and renting a house to create a home-away-from-home for a bunch of folks coming into town for the conference.

Who Am I?

Kenny Palurintano of Kenny’s Conscious Kitchen

Spending most of my childhood reading science-fiction & fantasy novels, I’ve always just known that there were unlimited ways for humanity to organize itself, I’ve known that those who are working selflessly to better the world will always be successful (even if they don’t see it), and I’ve known that “evil” never stands a chance in the long run.

For the past 3 years, I’ve been a full-time activist, starting off helping organize homeless-outreach events in Portland as part of #OpSafeWinter, and going on to organize the 2014 Million Mask March in town. In February of 2015, I travelled to Anarchapulco, and everything shifted, I knew it was time for me to get on the road and start living a more focused, effective life.

In the last year and a half, I’ve traveled tens of thousands of miles to cook for-, do body & energy work for-, be of service to-, offer inspiration, love, and positivity to-, and network with- amazing world-changing beings at events including:

My focus in life is simple: be of service to others, and work on healing & bettering myself. My travels are often based on my moving between gatherings, conferences, and festivals where I chef, and of which I’ve grown quite the circuit now. In the time between events, I have taken on a role similar to that of Alfred to Batman, but for a rotating cast of super-heroes all over Turtle Island.

I am a geek, and for the past few years, the full power of my geekiness has been turned towards solutions-oriented living, and gathered a lot of skills, people, and knowledge that I absolutely love sharing with the world.
