So here is our story...

Like many new ideas, Foodie Pack was born out of a struggle.  I was tired of having to run my little girl upstairs with the few bags I could carry, bribe her with snacks in her room hoping she would stay put long enough for me to run back down and get the rest of the groceries.  Every single week that I went through this I would ask myself how I can make this simpler. I had a large backpack at home so I tried that.  Although I was able to fit some groceries into it, it simply was not working.  So, I started work on my own bag design that would meet the needs of a grocery shopper not just a bag that can hold things.

 Plans for the final verison

The final version of Foodie Pack will be available in more attractive colors and patterns.  The side pouches will consist of one large pouch with its own protective insert that will protect items like bread or glass bottles from being damaged.  An additional interior level will be added that is designed for carrying two 18 egg cartons securely.  The two outer straps designed for carrying boxy items will be the full length of the bag. The part of the Foodie Pack that presses against the back will be given heavy padding to add comfort.  The shoulder straps will also be given heavy padding for comfort.

Manufacturing

Foodie Pack, like all products, can be manufactured in two locations; The US or overseas.  We really want to keep Foodie Pack Made in the USA but the reality is that making it here costs more.  Because of this your support is crucial in proving the capital needed to submit a purchase order with a US based company.  If we have to have it manufactured overseas we will work with a US based company in Sherman, Texas that works with overseas manufacturers; this way we are supporting a US based company no matter what.
