I'm Dave & I want to get my Meat & Nuts in your mouth!

I've spent my life in the New York City restaurant business and I have always had a passion for doing something myself.

I always bought Beef Jerky & Flavored Nuts and was almost always disappointed in the quality and very often feel overcharged.

I moved to Napa Valley, California to get access to the country's best Meat & Nuts and decided to do it better, myself. 

So here we are. I am sourcing Grass Fed - Grain Finished Beef from Northern California & Southern Oregon. I work with a 4 generation old company who processes my recipes in a real smoke house. All natural ingredients + unique flavors (Root Beer Habanero!) = the highest quality product out there. 

All my nuts are from California and hand selected for flavor & texture. Then the magic happens again with all natural ingredients and unique flavor combinations. I will be working on more savory & sweet flavors in the near future. 

Over the last year I have been developing the recipes. Through friends, family and social media I have sent out hundreds of samples and taken all the feedback very seriously. I have gotten so much amazing and positive feedback that I believe, almost everyone (can't please them all) will agree, that this is a seriously kick-ass set of Meat & Nuts.  

Until now, I have been a pain in the butt for my smoke house as they are only doing 10 pound runs for me and I am very low on their totem pole and all their equipment is set up for large quantities. Here is where you come in. 

To go into full scale production I need to do larger runs of Meat & Nuts. Doing over 50 pounds at a time will not only get my costs down but it will greatly improve the quality and consistency of all the products. 

All the money raised will be used to increase production. Any funds in excess of our goal will be used to purchase better, more appealing packaging (bags & labels).

My greatest passion in life has always been food. At 13 years old I started helping out in the kitchen of a local pizzeria in New York City. 

After briefly attending business courses in college I dropped out and enrolled at the Culinary Institute of America, in Hyde Park New York.
I had the privilege of learning from and working with some of the country's best Chefs and restaurateurs over the following 20 years in New York City.
I moved to Napa about a year ago. I was tired of the big city life and the grind of the restaurant business. I wanted to live somewhere beautiful that had access to the country's best agriculture. I believed (and still do) that this access, my passion and experience would enable me to start a successful food business. Which brings us here....
