We started to create a game about a dark mage who was banished from his guild for learning the dark side of magic. This knowledge gave him a vision about a great threat coming to his universe, and the only way to save it is to collect all the magic totems. The protagonist is granted new powers as each new totem is collected. All the totems are located on the floating islands in the sky. Using special granted abilities, the player needs to pass through each level and get all totems to defeat the great, evil threat.
In some ways it’s like an old school game.
Find the switch to open the vault to the totem. When the player gets to the vault they must plan an evacuation path, because as soon as the player grabs a totem the world starts to self-destruct and the player needs to get out quickly. The player can use hooks and drag game objects, and to make their way out the player needs to solve some physics-based puzzles.
